KORCOS18 IEC has ended
We are here: Compassion, Creativity, Change.

Let’s come together as a community of educators to reflect, grow and connect, empowering each other to create change agents for tomorrow.  What does it mean to be compassionate? What does it mean to be innovative? What does it mean to teach? To learn? To care?

We can’t wait to host you at GSIS for the Korea Council of Overseas Schools International Educators’ Conference 2018 (#KORCOSIEC18).  We are excited to make connections with the vision to create a better tomorrow.  That begins with the idea of a "We" being in the moment together, with the commitment to be our best selves for our students.

Let’s do this.

Session Objectives:
1. Design or revise processes or systems involving the reporting of annual assessment of student learning outcomes
2. Identify schools with whom they can partner to support and assist in developing, revising, and/or monitoring simple assessment reporting processes

Session Description:
This session is intended to provide efficient processes, tools and strategies for reporting and aligning student learning outcomes for K-12 international schools with mission and strategic plan goals.  Additionally, recommended tools range from free Microsoft and Apple-based products to commercial data management systems.  The primary emphasis will be in allowing participants to brainstorm ways to use the planning tools to strengthen assessment systems and reporting processes ongoing in their schools.  Finally, participants will be encouraged to collaborate with other schools that may not be as strong in assessment or budgeting for annual reporting of student learning outcomes aligned with schools’ missions and strategic plan goals.  The presenter will provide details of a new collaborative project to determine how K-12 international schools can be better supported for the processes involved with reporting student learning outcomes in this way.
