KORCOS18 IEC has ended
We are here: Compassion, Creativity, Change.

Let’s come together as a community of educators to reflect, grow and connect, empowering each other to create change agents for tomorrow.  What does it mean to be compassionate? What does it mean to be innovative? What does it mean to teach? To learn? To care?

We can’t wait to host you at GSIS for the Korea Council of Overseas Schools International Educators’ Conference 2018 (#KORCOSIEC18).  We are excited to make connections with the vision to create a better tomorrow.  That begins with the idea of a "We" being in the moment together, with the commitment to be our best selves for our students.

Let’s do this.

Limited Capacity seats available

Session Objectives:
1. Learn about the potential of creating a student-led Sports Council
2. Ideate around how student-let club programs can be implemented in your own schools

Session Description:
In this session, we - two high school students and I - will share about the SFS Sports Council, a student-run club that helps support the SFS Athletics program.  We will share the history of the club's creation, the functions and structures of the club, and our experience empowering the students into supporting and developing SFS Athletics.  We hope that ADs, coaches and school leaders will consider the possibility of creating a similar group at their respective schools to support their own athletic programs and connect students in their journey of sports council leadership.
