KORCOS18 IEC has ended
We are here: Compassion, Creativity, Change.

Let’s come together as a community of educators to reflect, grow and connect, empowering each other to create change agents for tomorrow.  What does it mean to be compassionate? What does it mean to be innovative? What does it mean to teach? To learn? To care?

We can’t wait to host you at GSIS for the Korea Council of Overseas Schools International Educators’ Conference 2018 (#KORCOSIEC18).  We are excited to make connections with the vision to create a better tomorrow.  That begins with the idea of a "We" being in the moment together, with the commitment to be our best selves for our students.

Let’s do this.

Fiona Moring

Education Resources Manager for Early Years and Elementary
Fiona now works at TTS Group UK and is a qualified primary school teacher. She received her PGCE in Upper Primary from Swansea University.

Prior to joining TTS she has lived, travelled and taught in various countries including Japan.  There she learnt Japanese and got her Masters on returning from Sheffield University.  She then went on to work with a Japanese company as well as keeping up her experience teaching in schools when possible.

With an affinity to Asia from travelling and work and also to education, she was delighted to be able to join TTS Group UK as an International Schools Account Manager for Asia. It meant that she can travel to Asia and at the same time work for the largest UK educational resources company that is focused on helping teachers to teach and learners to learn, by developing their own engaging, inspiring products for the effective use in education.  The programming and coding resources are her favorite from the huge range of 18,000 products and she was even prouder when she found out that one of her school alumni had developed some of these resources.  As a result she has already run a number of workshops and sessions to show how easy and engaging teaching coding and programming to Early Years and Elementary aged children can be. When not travelling, Fiona enjoys spending time at home with her family, running her gymnastics addicted daughter to training and competitions, trying to keep fit (to work off all the lovely food from the trips) and Latin Dancing.
