Let’s come together as a community of educators to reflect, grow and connect, empowering each other to create change agents for tomorrow.  What does it mean to be compassionate? What does it mean to be innovative? What does it mean to teach? To learn? To care?

We can’t wait to host you at GSIS for the Korea Council of Overseas Schools International Educators’ Conference 2018 (#KORCOSIEC18).  We are excited to make connections with the vision to create a better tomorrow.  That begins with the idea of a "We" being in the moment together, with the commitment to be our best selves for our students.

Kailyn McLean Angella is an Early Years teacher and department lead at Korea International School, Seoul Campus.  Kailyn’s background in the early years started when she graduated from Western Washington University specializing in Elementary and Special Education. Since then, she has completed her Masters in Teacher Leadership and loves the opportunity to share her passion with others whenever she can. Kailyn taught for many years in the Head Start Program as well as in a Learning Center for preschool students with special needs.

Before moving to Korea, she took a year off to backpack and volunteer in South America (ask her about Patagonia!).  Kailyn is a certified yoga teacher, Seattleite and a recently married woman, still learning how to pronounce her Italian last name.
