We can’t wait to host you at GSIS for the Korea Council of Overseas Schools International Educators’ Conference 2018 (#KORCOSIEC18).  We are excited to make connections with the vision to create a better tomorrow.  That begins with the idea of a "We" being in the moment together, with the commitment to be our best selves for our students.

Born and raised in Seattle, WA, Leann Norton is the proud owner of three raincoats and a degree in psychology from the University of Washington. Following her graduation, Leann quickly returned to school to obtain her teaching certificate and follow her passion. After a decade of working in education, Leann can truly claim to be a jack-of-all-trades, working as a bus barn employee, teaching assistant, para-educator, and teacher; she has seen and done it all. Within the field of teaching, Leann strongly believes in the power of balanced literacy and data driven instruction. As a lifelong learner and proud know-it-all, Leann has lead professional development sessions on Reader's Workshop, Writer's Workshop, Daily Five, CAFE, and data team implementation.
