Let’s come together as a community of educators to reflect, grow and connect, empowering each other to create change agents for tomorrow.  What does it mean to be compassionate? What does it mean to be innovative? What does it mean to teach? To learn? To care?

We can’t wait to host you at GSIS for the Korea Council of Overseas Schools International Educators’ Conference 2018 (#KORCOSIEC18).  We are excited to make connections with the vision to create a better tomorrow.  That begins with the idea of a "We" being in the moment together, with the commitment to be our best selves for our students.

Paul Rader

HS English Teacher
Paul grew up in Seoul as a son of international school teachers and attended Seoul Foreign School.  After graduating high school he attended Asbury University in Kentucky and completed his BS in Secondary English Education.  After graduation Paul started his teaching career in 2009 at Taejon Christian International School in South Korea teaching IB Literature and 10th Grade English. After completing two years of full time teaching, he moved into a part time IB English teaching role and became the APAC Activities Coordinator and High School Athletic Director at TCIS. For three years, he worked in this role while remaining a part-time teacher.

In 2014, after completing five years at TCIS, Paul accepted a part-time teaching position in English and Social Studies at Seoul Foreign High School. Since the fall of 2017 Paul has served as the Head of the English Department, leading a group of six other HS English teachers.  Throughout his teaching career Paul has been actively involved in coaching various sports teams.
 
Paul is married to Hannah Rader and they have two sons, James (7) and Bram (4).
