KORCOS18 IEC has ended
We are here: Compassion, Creativity, Change.

Let’s come together as a community of educators to reflect, grow and connect, empowering each other to create change agents for tomorrow.  What does it mean to be compassionate? What does it mean to be innovative? What does it mean to teach? To learn? To care?

We can’t wait to host you at GSIS for the Korea Council of Overseas Schools International Educators’ Conference 2018 (#KORCOSIEC18).  We are excited to make connections with the vision to create a better tomorrow.  That begins with the idea of a "We" being in the moment together, with the commitment to be our best selves for our students.

Let’s do this.

JP Rader

GSIS HS Principal
Suwon, Korea
J.P. Rader is the Secondary School Principal at Gyeonggi Suwon International School. He is also a husband to the beautiful Helen Rader, father to three awesome kids, and a grandfather to a vicious group of five little ones.  It is his third year at GSIS but 37th year overall in Korea. He completed his Doctorate in Educational Leadership in 2014 from Morehead State University and has had the good fortune to work in five different faith-based schools. Servant Leadership is at the core of his Educational Leadership philosophy and guides his day to day life at GSIS.

J.P. is a lover of books but not so much of heights.  He also taught Ken Jennings who won 74 Jeopardy contests in a row! Clearly J.P. has had something to do with it.
