Let’s come together as a community of educators to reflect, grow and connect, empowering each other to create change agents for tomorrow.  What does it mean to be compassionate? What does it mean to be innovative? What does it mean to teach? To learn? To care?

We can’t wait to host you at GSIS for the Korea Council of Overseas Schools International Educators’ Conference 2018 (#KORCOSIEC18).  We are excited to make connections with the vision to create a better tomorrow.  That begins with the idea of a "We" being in the moment together, with the commitment to be our best selves for our students.

Having worked as an educational leader around the world for 20 years, Steve is now with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and also works independently as a consultant supporting schools in their growth.  Previously, Steve was the Director at Qatar Academy Sidra, Doha; Elementary Principal at Asia Pacific International School, Seoul and Ruamrudee International School, Bangkok; Dean at Hong Kong International School, Hong Kong; principal with a Toronto school board and instructor at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Education.

As a leader Steve has been immersed in the school growth process and is passionate about how essential the “approach” used to bring about change, is. He has been influenced by the work of Martin Seligman in the area of positive psychology as well as books such as The Human Side of School Change, Multipliers, Dancing in the Rain, Adaptive Schools and Creating Schools That Thrive.
